Urticaria
Urticaria or hives is a skin condition that mostly occurs as a reaction to some allergen. It causes raised itchy marks on the skin. It can be contagious, too.
Causes:
- Allergies
- Tight clothing
- Sunlight exposure
- Being too harsh on the skin
- Excessive sweating
- High adrenaline secretion
- Viral or bacterial infections
- Stress
Symptoms:
- Raised itchy surfaces (bumps)
- Redness
- Patchy skin (spots, rashes, blotches)
- Swelling
- Nausea
- Excessive sweating
